WHY BOX NEEDS YOU Develop applications that extend the reach of Box's Content Cloud to where users get their work done - on their macOS and Windows devices. We are looking for a leader for our MacOS engineering team. In this leadership role, you will nurture the team, develop our engineers and drive projects to successful on-time delivery. Requirements

• Strong interest in hands-on people management - working directly with engineers, supporting them on project delivery, and developing scrum team capabilities.
• Strong ability to digest complex problems into smaller/simpler problems and design an action plan.
• 3+ years experience as a software engineering manager, ideally with experience leading teams with remote and local members.
• 8+ years experience in a software engineering or related profession.
• Strong empathy for users and customers - a desire to understand their use cases, and solve their pain points.
• Strong communicator, able to build a compelling vision for their team.
• Track record in engineering excellence, quality, simplicity and continuous improvement.
