About The Position

The Systems Engineer (Desktop Engineering) </b>is responsible for providing enterprise desktop, endpoint, and audiovisual support within a complex IT environment. This role focuses on analyzing system and workflow requirements, maintaining Windows -based environments, and delivering Tier 2 end -user support for productivity platforms, print services, and conference room technologies. </p> The engineer</b> will support operational stability, endpoint lifecycle management, and user productivity by troubleshooting system issues, implementing corrective actions, and documenting technical procedures in accordance with enterprise standards. </p>

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in:
  • Computer Science </p>
  • Information Systems </p>
  • Engineering </p>
  • Business </p>
  • </p> Or another related scientific or technical discipline </b></p> OR three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related technical field</b> </p>
  • Minimum 3 years of general experience</b> in systems engineering </p>
  • At least 1 year of specialized experience</b> working with interactive, real -time systems supporting online or on -demand operations </p>
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze system requirements, evaluate technical problems, and implement corrective actions </p>

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years</b> of experience administering and maintaining Windows desktop and endpoint environments </p>
  • Hands -on experience managing enterprise print solutions, including PaperCut MF and multifunction printers (HP and Canon) </p>
  • Experience providing enterprise AV support, including:
  • AVoIP -based conference room solutions</b> </p>
  • AV control interfaces and integrated room technologies</b> </p>
  • Advanced experience delivering Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365 platforms and services </p>
  • Experience deploying and managing endpoints using Tanium and PDQ</b> </p>
  • Strong collaboration skills working across infrastructure, security, and application teams </p>
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining technical documentation and IT knowledge bases </p>
  • Current professional certifications, including:
  • Relevant Q -SYS</b> certifications and/or </p>
  • Microsoft</b> certifications </p>

Responsibilities

  • Analyze system and user requirements related to desktop computing, endpoints, and collaboration tools </p>
  • Administer, maintain, and support enterprise Windows workstation and endpoint environments </p>
  • Provide Tier 2 support for Microsoft 365 applications and services, including:
  • Power Automate</b> </p>
  • Office applications</b> </p>
  • Microsoft Teams</b> </p>
  • SharePoint</b> </p>
  • OneDrive</p>
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain endpoints using tools such as Tanium and PDQ </b>for:
  • Software distribution </p>
  • Patch management </p>
  • Asset inventory and compliance </p>
  • Manage and support enterprise print solutions, including:
  • PaperCut MF</b> </p>
  • HP multifunction printers</b> </p>
  • Canon copiers</p>
  • Provide audiovisual (AV) support for conference rooms and event spaces, including:
  • AVoIP systems</b> </p>
  • Control interfaces and integrated AV solutions</b> </p>
  • Collaborate with cross -functional IT teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues </p>
  • Evaluate workflow, organizational, and planning challenges and develop corrective actions </p>
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps in an enterprise IT knowledge base </p>
  • Support endpoint standardization, security, and lifecycle management initiatives </p>
