About The Position

In this role, you will lead the development of secure, scalable, and high-impact identity management and licensing systems that power modern SaaS and cloud-connected applications. You will operate at the intersection of technical excellence and people leadership, guiding cross-functional teams through complex engineering challenges. Requirements

  • 15+ years of industry experience with progressive growth in technical and leadership responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams of six or more, with strong people leadership skills.
  • Previous hands-on experience in identity management and or licensing systems.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably GoLang, with experience in C# on .NET and TypeScript considered valuable.
  • Solid background in cloud infrastructure and services, particularly within Amazon AWS environments.
  • Proven experience with microservices architectures, containerized deployments, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Terraform and GitHub or GitLab.
  • Deep knowledge of REST APIs, web protocols, and modern integration standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and organizational abilities.
  • Growth-oriented mindset, adaptability to change, and resilience in fast-evolving technical environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering teams across the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery, reliability, and performance.
  • Recruit, mentor, coach, and inspire engineers and technical leads, supporting their growth and long-term success.
  • Set clear objectives, track performance, and provide continuous feedback through structured goal-setting and reviews.
  • Partner closely with architects, product managers, delivery leaders, and quality teams to define technical direction and execution plans.
  • Drive architectural and implementation decisions for identity management and licensing systems in cloud-native environments.
  • Remove technical and organizational blockers, solving complex challenges across people, process, and technology.
  • Manage budgets, approve expenses, and contribute to planning and forecasting activities.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to stakeholders across engineering and business teams.
