The Engineering & Maintenance Support Specialist is generally responsible for planning and scheduling heavy industrial engineering projects, monitoring project costs, and/or estimating projects. This role involves performing work under minimal supervision and includes a wide range of administrative and technical support tasks for engineering partners and projects. Key duties span from managing IT and SharePoint access, processing various requests (BMD, Service4You), handling earmark approvals and budget verification, to creating and managing purchase requisitions and change orders. The specialist is also involved in receiving and preparing equipment shipments, managing project documentation (job books, closure, cancellation), and resolving invoice-related issues by checking payment status in SAP and escalating inquiries. Furthermore, the role provides technical support for SAP and SAP PPM, manages email groups, office supplies, building maintenance requests, and printer/plotter maintenance. It also includes purchasing card reconciliation and SAP vendor maintenance requests.
