About The Position

Plan, organize, and direct the Engineering & Maintenance department to improve quality, production output, reduce downtime, and control costs. Manage engineering and maintenance teams responsible for battery formation, shipping, and support equipment. Lead implementation of Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, TPM, and engineering change controls. Conduct engineering change development, cost estimates, documentation, and corrective actions for process nonconformities. Provide hands-on support to operations, including training engineering staff on new processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (BSEE/BSME) or related field
  • Solid technical knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, robotics, and assembly systems
  • Experience with Capital Projects
  • Experience implementing TPM and reliability initiatives
  • At least 4 years in manufacturing and 4 years in engineering leadership

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with PLC programming
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certification

  • Maintain strong documentation and cost-control practices to support decision-making and compliance
