Mosaic is seeking an asset and strategy engineering lead to join our dynamic team, driving best-in-class reliability and maintenance practices across multiple production sites specializing in sulfuric and phosphoric acid. In this strategic role, you'll lead the development and implementation of asset strategies for critical equipment, collaborating closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to influence decisions and elevate asset performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Proven leader with 10+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, and operations within sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid production facilities
  • Solid understanding of process operations, mechanical integrity, and asset management in chemical manufacturing environments
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, driving change and building consensus
  • Experience working across multiple sites or business units, with a track record of delivering results in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Deep familiarity with rotating equipment, pressure vessels, piping systems, and process instrumentation in acid production
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S4 Hana or similar ERP system, reliability engineering tools, and predictive maintenance technologies
  • Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations for chemical process industries
  • Facilitation experience with RCM and FMEA
  • Development and optimization of PM procedures
  • Ability to travel between sites as needed

  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications such as: CMRP, CRE, CRL, CSSBB

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, leveraging deep knowledge of process operations and maintenance to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at each site.
  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and address recurring issues.
  • Guide and mentor site teams in adopting best practices for preventive and predictive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Support capital planning and asset lifecycle management, providing prioritized recommendations for sustaining capital investments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration across all sites.
