PRIMARY DUTIES: Having detailed direction, supervisor accessibility, and regularly scheduled performance feedback: Develop and conduct a variety of experiments to improve current processes and develop new processes or products. Formulate corrective action reports based on testing and research. Recommend design and/or process changes and implement design or process changes as approved. Research new processes, operations, and manufacturing equipment. Set-up and test new equipment and process as deemed appropriate. Prepare memos, reports, and other engineering related documentation. Use computer and necessary software to write reports. Develop spreadsheet, charts table, graphs to support reports written. Read and interpret engineering drawings and other engineering related documentation including charts and formulas (application of, as appropriate, MS Word – Excel – Outlook – AutoCAD – etc.) Monitor and record problems with process and mechanical equipment and recommend corrective action. Perform any other duties related in nature which may be assigned.
