About The Position

Contributes to new product development by supporting Quality initiatives. The primary purpose of the role is to assist the R&D Quality Engineering group with daily responsibilities and improvement projects related to Product Development, Test Method Development, Design Controls, and Risk Assessment.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED
• Enrolled in a college level engineering or microbiology program
• Demonstrated interest in Medical Device Development, Quality Systems, Inspection, or Quality Engineering
• Computer skills including understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Data checks
• Training checks on protocols and testing execution
• DV builds mock auditing /document reviews
• Risk assessment support
• Tooling qualification
• Preliminary protocol and data review for consistency
• Execution and evaluation of newly developed and revised test methods
• Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
• Perform job functions in accordance with applicable GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO guidelines
• Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards
• Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
