About The Position

Nature and Scope Own and execute engineering projects with supervision/guidance that include but not limited to developing system efficiencies, CAD design, data collection, data entry and project management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. Undertake and successfully complete projects including any of the following: create/update SOPs and P&IDs, develop URS and purchase documents for a capital investment, equipment capability analysis, spare part or size change part organization. May assist in inventing / creating concepts and designs/approaches for new processes Completes basic tasks on engineering documentation Prepare a presentation of project results at the end of the internship. Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of college level courses pursuing a degree in an accredited engineering program, required.
  • Ability to work 40 hrs/week during the summer internship program onsite in a manufacturing environment.
  • General computer skills such as Windows and Microsoft Office, required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Physically able to wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment, including but not limited to gowning, goggles, face shields, and protective gloves.

Nice To Haves

  • CAD education or experience, preferred.
