About The Position

Elevation Labs is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support site-level initiatives, including assigned projects, and assist the engineering team with design and project completion. This internship provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while partnering with experienced engineering professionals. Essential Functions, Key objectives, and Responsibilities: Work independently or collaboratively as a valuable team member in a professional environment Follow and provide direction effectively to support team operations and project success Read, interpret, and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams Safely operate equipment when working at heights, including ladders and forklift safety platforms Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively in daily tasks Support operation and interaction with PLC-controlled machinery using computer systems Perform assigned duties efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with safety standards Assist in sourcing parts and supplies to support maintenance and operational needs Understand and communicate proper and safe operating procedures for machinery Identify safety concerns and take appropriate corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment Contribute to or lead small teams on projects as needed Required Knowledge, Skills, And Competencies: Ideal Candidate Qualifications : Effective written and verbal communication skills appropriate for a professional environment Strong team collaboration skills in a team-based work environment Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand, operate, and troubleshoot tools and equipment (including drill press, grinders, saws, etc.) Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines Proficiency in SolidWorks Project management skills with the ability to organize and execute tasks efficiently Education/Experience: Must have high school diploma or equivalency Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS Frequent standing and walking within a manufacturing environment Regular use of hands and arms for handling, operating, or feeling equipment and materials Frequent reaching with hands and arms to perform job tasks Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as required Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally Visual ability to interpret close, distance, color, and peripheral details with depth perception and focus adjustment The physical demands identified above are representative of those that will be required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requirements
