About The Position

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Engineering Designer II to join the Civil/Site team in our Lansing, MI office!

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer using AutCAD, Civil 3D, Microstation, Arc GIS and Water CAD.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to comprehend written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Responsibilities

• Develop drawings by modifying or replicating a prior project, applying changes and corrections from redlined drawings, and/or creating drawings from sketches of others or from own design.
• Perform engineering calculations and create estimates.
• Interpret and understand drawings from multiple disciplines for specific projects and respond to requests for information regarding same.
• Work with senior engineers to create project designs.
• Create models, including 3D models.
• Research design options and document findings for project engineer/manager.
