The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an Engineering Commercialization Leader, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Serving as the primary liaison between Engineering & Manufacturing Technology and selected high-priority new product development teams. Coordinate early involvement of capital engineering, automation, and manufacturing experts. Assess manufacturability of priority concepts and translate requirements into clear technical needs. This includes internal and/or 3rd party manufacturing. Facilitate decision‑making on capability gaps, investment needs, and technology deployment. Monitor progress toward capital accuracy, launch readiness and resolve cross‑functional issues. Ensure reasonable capital estimates are used during build a business case gate of NPIs and updated estimates are used as the project progresses through subsequent gates. Ensure product launch dates are aligned with capital project timelines. Own the view of all capex associated with NPIs providing visibility to projects with cost/schedule risk and actively work with teams on mitigation plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Ten (10) years of management experience in capital engineering, product commercialization, manufacturing technology leadership, or product development environments.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.
  • U.S. Export Control laws and U.S. Government Department of Defense contracts and sub-contracts impose certain restrictions on companies and their ability to share export-controlled and other technology and services with certain "non-U.S. persons" (persons who are not U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents of the U.S., refugees, "Temporary Residents" (granted Amnesty or Special Agricultural Worker provisions), or persons granted asylum.
