Job Description We are looking for a talented teammate… To join our team as an Engineering Intern! CLEAResult is a consulting firm that designs and implements energy efficiency programs nationwide. This position supports engineering team that serves clients across the US. A successful candidate will work closely with our Engineering teams and divisional leadership. This is a hybrid role requiring one day a week in office in Austin, TX. Minimal travel may be required, as a benefit of the position. Research how changing federal, state and city building codes are impacting building energy use to inform our clients and update our offerings accordingly Support engineering tool development using MS Excel and other software Update databases and calculators our engineering team uses regularly Present on a summer project to Engineering Leadership at the conclusion of the internship Work with a cross functional team to learn this industry broadly and never ever defy the laws of physics! Exciting candidates are… Pursuing a degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or environmental) Have complete 3+ years of a Bachelor’s degree completed or working on a Master’s degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2025 Able to work part-time (~20 hours per week) during the spring (Januar through May) reporting into our Austin, Texas offices 1 day week Adequate Wi-Fi Interested and ambitions to work in fast-paced energy efficiency industry Familiar with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and detailed calculation work Strong in their math and analytical skills Interested in an opportunity to be considered for promotion to a full-time engineering position after the internship has been completed

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or environmental)
  • Have complete 3+ years of a Bachelor’s degree completed or working on a Master’s degree with a graduation date no earlier than May/June 2025
  • Able to work part-time (~20 hours per week) during the spring (Januar through May) reporting into our Austin, Texas offices 1 day week
  • Adequate Wi-Fi
  • Interested and ambitions to work in fast-paced energy efficiency industry
  • Familiar with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and detailed calculation work
  • Strong in their math and analytical skills
  • Interested in an opportunity to be considered for promotion to a full-time engineering position after the internship has been completed
