About The Position

The Engineering Co-op is appointed by, receives authority from, and reports to the Global Product Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties & responsibilities of the Engineering Co-op include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Lead specific engineering activities and projects. Lead manufacturing initiatives and implementation. Work with manufacturing to implement operational and sourcing cost saving initiatives. Take an active role in projects and continuous improvement activities, including project management responsibilities. Develop and complete engineering models and drawings with SolidWorks. Help prepare and maintain technical documentation including drawings, BOMs, test protocols, and reports. Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and cross-functional team collaborations. Promote safety within a manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school education & completed one year of college minimum, and actively pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar degree program.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks software
  • Employment at Exsurco Medical is contingent upon successfully completing both a pre-employment background check and a drug screening.
