About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Engineering Associate to join the Consumer Technology (CT) group supporting the Auto Lending Technology organization within the Enablement and Quality Enablement function. In this role, you will work across a complex microservices based ecosystem to support monthly release validation, automated and manual testing, and continuous improvement efforts that directly impact internal stakeholders, dealerships, and external partners you will contribute to the modernization of highly integrated systems that power Auto Lending origination and servicing for multiple business groups, including Dealer Management, Funding, Credit Processing, and more. In this role, you will: Validate, test, and certify monthly releases using both automated and manual testing approaches across a complex Auto Lending technology environment. Support modernization efforts across microservices, in‑house systems, and integrated application layers within the Quality Enablement organization. Execute testing strategies for Auto Lending origination and servicing platforms across Dealer Management, Funding, Credit Processing, and related workflows. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Karate. Work with programming languages such as Java, .NET, and Python, with the ability to learn additional languages or frameworks as the platform evolves. Collaborate closely with Technology Leads, Product Managers, and Product Owners across Charlotte and Irving to ensure high‑quality delivery. Use release and quality management tools such as Jira and Octane to track testing progress, defects, and outcomes. Identify edge cases, risks, and dependencies with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. Troubleshoot complex issues, support integration testing, and contribute to ongoing enhancements of the Auto Lending technology stack.
