The Engineering Aide provides hands‑on support in the assembly, modification, and documentation of test fixtures, wire harnesses, and related hardware used for aerospace and defense system testing. This entry‑level role works closely with engineers and technicians to ensure that test equipment meets design specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, avionics discipline required
  • Combined degree and experience preferred
  • Ability to read Engineering Drawings (1-2 years’ experience)
  • Data Acquisition (1-2 years’ experience)
  • Electronic Testing (1-2 years’ experience)
  • Read Electrical Schematics (1-2 years’ experience)
  • Ability to obtain required security clearance (if applicable)therefore you must be a US Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic engineering knowledge (statics, dynamics, circuits, etc.)
  • Military training/combined experience in electronics field
  • Ability to read engineering drawings & GD&T basics
  • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
  • Proficiency with hand/precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers)
  • Basic machining and assembly experience
  • Ability to set up simple test rigs and record data in Excel
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skills
  • Knowledge of shop safety practices and PPE use
  • Good written and verbal communication; team‑oriented
  • Basic problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability
  • Effective time‑management and accurate record‑keeping
