About The Position
EMCOR Government Services is seeking an Engineer in Washington, D.C. This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99. EMCOR Government Services provides superior facility support services to military bases, national security agencies, federal buildings, healthcare facilities, and leading commercial clients in Washington D.C and across the nation. Requirements
- DC 3rd class Steam Engineers License
- 5 years experience in facilities maintenance
Responsibilities
- Responsible to his/her immediate supervisors, for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance during his/her watch of all equipment.
- Operate and maintain all fired and unfired pressure vessels and vacuum systems.
- Operate and maintain all refrigeration and air conditioning machinery and their associated equipment, including maintenance and repair of cold storage spaces.
- Perform duty tours of the building.
- Be on call rotation for after-hour call ins.
- Be available to work extended days or weekends if needed.
- Be familiar with BAS/Honeywell front end system.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on HVAC equipment in the building.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer.
