About The Position

EMCOR Government Services provides superior facility support services to military bases, national security agencies, federal buildings, healthcare facilities, and leading commercial clients across the nation, particularly in Washington D.C. The company is a leading integrated service provider with a unique combination of government experience and facilities expertise. EMCOR Government Services is seeking an Engineer in Washington, D.C. This position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Local 99.

Requirements

At a minimum must have a DC 3rd class Steam Engineers License
5 years experience in facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

Responsible to his/her immediate supervisors, for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance during his/her watch of all equipment.
All fired and unfired pressure vessels and vacuum systems.
All refrigeration and air conditioning machinery and their associated equipment include maintenance and repair of cold storage spaces.
Performing duty tours of the building.
Responsible for being on call rotation for after-hour call ins.
Must be available to work extended days or weekends if needed.
Familiar with BAS/Honeywell front end system.
Performing Preventive Maintenance on HVAC equipment in the building.
All other duties assigned by the Chief Engineer.
