About The Position

Wilson Trailer Company is seeking an Engineering Intern for our Gooseneck product line. Wilson Trailer Company is an industry leader in the truck trailer industry. Position Summary Under regular supervision, the Engineering Intern collects, stores, updates and maintains accurate data in company systems. Administrative duties such as pulling reports, creating and updating internal communications, and working with other departments on research requests and projects.

Requirements

• Age: Eighteen years of age minimum.
• Education: High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Computer Skills: Competent.
• Communication: Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate clearly and concisely using the English language.
• Other Requirements: Able to wear hardhat, eye and ear protection & safety toe boots.
• A drug screen will be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred Experience: Three to four years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide general office support for all Engineering staff in all locations.
• Manage data pertaining to general operations of Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing.
• Assist in item master and bill of material (BOM) creation and accuracy; runs checking programs daily.
• Create and distributes internal communications, as directed.
• Train new Engineering personnel to use company business software.
• Participate in special projects regarding software upgrades, supply chain, data cleanup and others.
