About The Position

Martin/Martin, Inc. is looking for a Structural Engineer in Training (EIT) for our Bentonville, Arkansas office. This engineer will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of project types with many different structural materials. This position will provide opportunities to gain experience in both new building structural design and existing building investigations and retrofits. A typical work week can include engineering calculations, drawing development, Construction Administration tasks, and site visits. This position allows for interactions with owners, architects, and contractors early in your career as you build relationships throughout the project life cycle. While many of our projects are located in Arkansas, Martin/Martin’s national footprint provides opportunities to work on projects around the country. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Environmental, Construction, Structural, or related engineering field
Has passed FE Examination
0-2 years’ experience

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited engineering curriculum in Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related engineering field
Knowledge of building and material design codes
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods of time
Strong written, technical, and interpersonal skills
Committed to client service and a team-based approach
Experience using Autodesk Revit to produce building construction documents
Experience analyzing structures using RAM, SAP, ETABS, or RISA
Construction field experience
GPA of 3.5 or higher
