Job Description: Support and drive device yield and process parametric improvement work on Microchip products. Identify and implement root cause solutions to yield loss mechanisms through statistical data analysis and failure analysis techniques. Participate/Lead continuous improvement projects on products and processes for improved yield, cost, and quality by teaming with the product, test, design, and process engineering groups. Evaluate and monitor product test and process parametric data trends to identify issues requiring further investigation/resolution. Evaluate and disposition discrepant product held for yield enhancement engineering review

Requirements

  • BSEE degree or equivalent, with 0-3 years employment or internship experience in the semiconductor industry (hands-on product, test, design, or fabrication experience).
  • Basic CMOS Semiconductor Process/Device knowledge
  • Basic understanding of statistical data analysis, SPC, and Semiconductor testing Methods
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Be able to work effectively alone and in team environments as either a contributor or leader
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to learn new skills
