Your responsibilities include planning, designing, and developing facilities that incorporate industrial equipment such as HVAC systems, chillers, and cooling towers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience with installation, planning and design of industrial equipment (HVAC systems, air compressors, pumps, cooling towers, chillers, etc.).
  • Experience with establishing field operation, maintenance and management programs, and procedures for environmental facilities and other departments.
  • Experience with evaluating, and approving or recommending changes in facilities industrial equipment.
  • Experience with reviewing projects involving new installation, modification, and repair of facilities industrial equipment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred certifications include: HVAC, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulics and/or Pneumatics

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and maintains consultant relationship with approved vendors and contractors for support of facility related industrial equipment (HVAC systems, cooling towers, chillers, air compressors, etc.).
  • Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary
  • Maintains literature, supplies, service manuals and related service bulletins.
  • Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
  • Utilize statistical analysis tools to determine the process control, and capability for investigations.
  • Provide technical assistance as necessary to maintenance, and operations personnel.
  • Assure for adequate generation of facilities services and distribution capacity by monitoring the site usage and staying abreast of future site requirements. This includes providing information for current and future demands.
  • Other duties as assigned.
