About The Position

Rhodium Group is looking for an entrepreneurial and talented Engagement Manager to join our world-class team of economists, policy analysts, researchers, and data engineers. As an Engagement Manager in Rhodium Group’s China practice, you will support the team’s business development and relationships with government stakeholders and other clients. You will develop and enact a business development strategy to secure timely, high-quality projects on critical economic policy issues.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or higher in business, international economics, international relations, security studies, or related fields.
  • 7+ years of direct experience supporting business development and contracts with government entities in the United States and other OECD member countries.
  • Detailed knowledge of contracting and grant processes, regulations, and platforms is essential.
  • Proven track record in taking ownership and leading a portfolio of complex projects in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing junior analysts.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Partners and senior leadership to expand business development strategies and outreach to major clients—particularly government entities in the United States and other OECD member countries—to secure new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with senior leadership to evaluate new opportunities and ensure fit with appropriate contract models, pricing structures, and compliance requirements.
  • Build and manage a qualified prospect pipeline, working cross-functionally across practices and teams to align business development strategies with project scope and execution for major clients.
  • Manage client expectations and communications effectively. Provide updates and address concerns, adapting project scopes as necessary to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Work with senior leadership to ensure successful project outcomes for clients under tight time constraints and complex requirements.
  • Oversee project budgets and provide regular financial reports to senior leadership.
