About The Position

The Endpoint Engineering Associate is a foundational technical role focused on deploying, maintaining, and providing advanced support for end-user computing devices. You will execute engineering tasks under direct supervision while building core skills in desktop image management and application packaging. The endpoint engineer may be required to perform tasks associated with server infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 4+ years general IT Support/Break/Fix
  • 0-2 years in an Endpoint Engineering role
  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Solid understanding of Windows operating system deployment processes
  • Practical experience with Active Directory/Entra ID for managing computer objects and user permissions
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for desktop and application issues
  • Proficient in remote support and diagnostic tools
  • Windows server infrastructure experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in IT/related field preferred
  • Some understanding of Windows Servers highly desired
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • End-User Computing: Execute the provisioning and deployment of standardized corporate laptops, desktops, and peripherals. Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex hardware and software malfunctions escalated from the Service Desk.
  • Computer Imaging & Application Packaging: Assist with the maintenance of the standard computer image, performing necessary updates and testing. Assist the team with basic application packaging and deployment testing.
  • Change Management: Follow established change management procedures for all endpoint deployments and configuration updates, documenting changes accurately.
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): Assist with the enrollment and basic troubleshooting of mobile devices within the MDM system.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure all deployed devices adhere to basic security baselines (e.g., anti-virus installation, local firewall settings).
  • Virtualization: Assist with the creation, cloning, and basic configuration of virtual machines (VMs) according to standard templates.
