About The Position

Work Schedule : Part-time, 80% FTE day/evening shift. Monday – Friday rotating start times between 6:30am – 9:90am, working 8-hour shifts. Weekday, weekend and holiday on-call is required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking Endoscopy Technician to: Assist physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the gastroenterology endoscopy setting. Prepare and position patients for procedures, assisting providers during endoscopy, including biopsy specimen collection, and polypectomy. Restocking of procedure room supplies and monitoring of supply PAR levels. Troubleshooting of all specialty equipment. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent Required
  • 1 year clinical setting experience Required
  • 1 year experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures basic cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
  • CPR certification Required

Nice To Haves

  • Formal training or experience in medical specialty (i.e. LPN, MA, Advanced Nursing Assistant (CNA)) Preferred
  • Completion of the SGNA Associates Program Preferred
  • 1 year experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures basic cardiac monitoring experience Preferred
