Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience assisting with endoscopy procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse within the scope of practice.
- Assist the physician and registered nurse during endoscopy procedures.
- Responsible for care, cleaning, and troubleshooting endoscopic equipment.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment within the endoscopy area.
