We are looking for an Enamel Cell Operator (Floor Helper Back 40) to join our team in Enamel Shop. We offer a diverse array of growth opportunities within our Foundry and Enamel Operations. This position will be based at our Kohler, Wisconsin location. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality cast iron products.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in the US without restriction or sponsorship.
  • Effective communication skills for manufacturing production processes.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation including but not limited to bending, lifting, and pushing weight.
  • Screening: Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and work performance.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1+ year of manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Working from a daily schedule, the ground coat material handler picks up ware from the casting finishing storage area and trucks skids of castings to the proper staging area in ground coat.
  • Recording material movements accurately with a scanning device.
  • Loading skids on the ground coat lines for spraying.
  • Returning empty pallets and defective castings to proper areas in casting finishing.
  • Communicating with supervision to help ensure that ground coat has materials to meet daily production requirements.
  • Must learn enamel shop part numbers.
  • Ability to operate a forklift is required.
  • Lifting requirements are up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
