About The Position

Sign on Bonus for New Hires! Full Time - $5,000 We are currently hiring for both locations- Newark and Dover Pay Scale : Starting at $23/ hr Rates can differ based on experience Hours Available : Morning, Mid and Night shifts Full time, Part time and Per diem available 12 hr shifts Locations : New Jersey - Lakewood (Home office), Pennsauken, Edison Delaware - Dover and Newark Maryland - Elkton Why We Are Worth The Application : At GEM Mobile Health, we strive to give the best customer service and care to every patient we transport. We are an ambulette transportation company that works with over 150+ facilities and hospitals throughout NJ, DE and MD. Not only do we do transports for doctors' appointments, check ups, facilities, discharges, but we also provide our facilities with the option to call in emergency calls when needed. We realize that working in Healthcare and as a First Responder is difficult and we try our hardest to make sure that we listen to our employees to make a difference. We have an amazing team of Supervisors throughout our bases who are dedicated to helping others. What You Will Be Doing : The EMT will be working with another EMT or AFR on our BLS truck. You will be responsible for ensuring the client is safe, secure, comfortable and arrives at their destination per the guidelines with State and Federal statutes and regulations. You will be in constant contact with our dispatch team who will assign calls to you and your partner. If any issues arise, you must have clear communication with your supervisor(s), dispatch, partner and accurate charting.

Requirements

NREMT and DE EMT Certification (Must be valid)
Valid CPR card
If an EMT driver, min of 21 years of age and not on a probation license
Valid clean driver’s license from the USA
Clear Criminal History Check
Willing to submit a Pre-Employment Screening (Drug screen, PPD and physical)
Completing a Defensive Driving course (If driving)
Completing Fingerprinting
Ability to lift, bend, twist and crouch up to 150lbs
Fully vaccinated from Covid-19

Responsibilities

Pre and post hospital basic and life support treatment.
Operates all vehicles safely and professionally in compliance with all laws and regulations.
Accurately documents all patient information, vitals, facility information, etc.
Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicles and troubleshooting all equipment and/or supplies to ensure there are enough necessary items available.
Ensures all certifications are kept up to date and renewed before the expiration date.
