NARMC EMS Dispatchers will are responsible for intake of Emergency and non-emergency calls (request for medical assistance) and the dispatching of appropriate resources and responses to those requests for assistance including giving pre-arrival instructions to the caller. This position requires that the dispatcher be able to utilize multiple forms of telecommunication equipment, be able to clearly communicate with the general public as well as other professional entities, and coordinate EMS resources using established protocols to provide timely emergency response.
