About The Position
The Dispatcher is responsible for taking calls and managing units so that we are on time for emergency and non-emergency transports. They are to follow Puckett EMS policies, protocols and culture. Employees hired into this position are subject to a six-month introductory probationary period.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
- Good organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Answering the phone in the communications center
- Gathers all necessary information to dispatch calls
- Effectively manages the units
- Provides feedback to supervisor as needed
- Achieves 95% compliance monthly
- Accuracy with data entry
