About The Position

The EMR Application Analyst I support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to ensure seamless clinical operations. Troubleshoots application issues, collaborates with clinical and IT teams to tailor solutions, and monitors system performance for compliance and data integrity. Provides end-user training and technical support while documenting workflows and coordinating system updates with vendors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (AA or AS) from an accredited college or university required, plus one (1) year of relevant work experience
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Basic knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare IT
• Experience troubleshooting application issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to provide end-user training and support

Nice To Haves

• Experience working within a healthcare environment
• Familiarity with EMR system configuration or optimization

Responsibilities

• Supports the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems
• Collaborates with billing, coding, IT, and clinical teams to ensure accurate workflows and system functionality
• Identifies and resolves system issues and data discrepancies to support operational efficiency and data integrity
• Monitors system performance and supports compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Conducts audits and generates performance reports for leadership
• Provides end-user training and troubleshooting support for EMR systems
• Documents system configurations, workflows, and process improvements
• Coordinates system updates and enhancements with vendors and internal stakeholders
