About The Position
Performs various training tasks in support of Biochemistry (BCHEM) Empower Software support and training of HPLC and Capillary Electrophoresis techniques. Assist Empower Support Lead in evaluation of Empower reports and project setup. Main point person for in-lab training of all HPLC and Capillary Electrophoresis instrumentation setup and operation. Main point of contact to answer instrument setup for new analysts and best practice routines for HPLC systems and Capillary Electrophoresis Systems. Subject matter expert (SME) in chromatography and electrophoretic issues, Assists Empower Lead in development and refining of training materials. Works closely with training adminstration to schedule and execute new analyst HPLC and CE training when needed. Develop additional resources for analysts to use during instrument setup and testing.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
- Bachelors Degree in science or related field required

- Well experienced in High Performance Liquid Chromatography instrumentation, Capillary Electrophoresis, and applicable instrumentation analysis.

- Maintains current resources for instrument trouble-shooting and staff training
- Liaise with training center to prepare departmental materials for new hire arrivals.
- Demonstrates ability to work on multiple projects at one time
- Demonstrates ability to work as part of a team or independently
- Communicates effectively with client staff members
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
