Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred) in Human Services, Business, Workforce Development, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, or workforce development
  • 3+ years leadership experience managing teams and program outcomes
  • Demonstrated success in job development and employer partnerships
  • Experience working with state funding sources (BRS, DDS, DMHAS, BESB) preferred
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to increase measurable outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Employment Specialists focused on competitive employment outcomes
  • Drive job development strategies and employer engagement across the community
  • Build partnerships with businesses, workforce organizations, and community leaders
  • Ensure compliance with funding partners including BRS, DDS, DMHAS, and BESB
  • Track placement outcomes and use data to improve performance and growth
  • Manage departmental operations, budget oversight, and program performance
  • Identify new workforce training opportunities and innovative employment pathways
