About The Position

Our AmLaw 100 client is doubling down on its investment in the future of employment law. The firm is seeking a junior to mid -level associate (2020 -2023 JD) to join its powerhouse Employment Practice, serving a portfolio of top -tier clients in tech, life sciences, and private equity. This isn’t your typical back -office litigation gig. You’ll be diving headfirst into high -stakes trade secret and employee mobility cases, PAGA and wage & hour class actions, founder blowups, and headline -grabbing single -plaintiff harassment suits. Expect to handle pre -litigation strategy and go toe -to -toe with regulatory agencies. If you know your way around restrictive covenant agreements, employment contracts, and separation deals—or you’ve advised on M&A from the employment side—you’re already ahead of the curve. Day -to -day client counseling on terminations, policy reviews, and discrimination claims will be a regular part of your practice. Requirements

  • 1 to 4 years of solid employment litigation and counseling experience
  • JD from a top -tier law school
  • Stellar writing and interpersonal skills
  • California bar admission (or the ability to gain it quickly)

Nice To Haves

  • know your way around restrictive covenant agreements, employment contracts, and separation deals
  • advised on M&A from the employment side
