Program Description: The Employment Institute, Auberle's nationally recognized workforce development program, places unemployed and underemployed individuals in career jobs, not just training. Our passionate, mission-driven team supports individuals in overcoming any barrier to employment impacting our participants, their families, and future generations. Because of our holistic model, 84% of our participants remain in employment for six months or more, a long-term indicator of success in the workplace. Position Title and Overview: Employment Institute Business Development Manager · Employer Engagement & Job Connections: Develop and maintain relationships with local employers and community partners to support job opportunities for participants. Stay informed about local hiring needs and share relevant opportunities with the team. · Program Support & Coordination: Assist in coordinating training opportunities that connect participants to employment. Help implement program activities and support efforts to expand services as needed. · Data Tracking, Reporting & Grant Support: Track program data and assist with reporting to support program goals. Contribute to grant-related tasks, such as gathering information and supporting proposal development. · Participant Success: Support participants in achieving employment goals, including job placement and retention, with a focus on individuals facing barriers to employment. · Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with staff across programs to support participant needs, strengthen services, and contribute to the Auberle’s mission and day-to-day operations. Location and Travel Requirements: This position is primarily located in McKeesport. All positions are also expected to come to training, meetings, and other events at Main Campus in McKeesport, as scheduled. The travel required for this position is regular.
