About The Position

This position leads a dynamic employer partnership program, with a focus on expansion and continued program development to support investments of time and funding in JMG. The Employer Partnerships Manager is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing employer partners as contributors to JMG’s work, while supporting broader development operations, including grant proposals and scholarship-related processes. This role ensures that employer partnerships and related activities are organized, tracked, and executed reliably across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in development, partnerships, or related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with data entry and database or CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Ability to coordinate across teams and manage logistics.
  • Commitment to JMG’s mission and ability to support a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage, and secure employer partners to support JMG through contributions, sponsorships, and engagement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain employer partner relationships to support ongoing engagement, contributions, and retention.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of prospects, employer partners, and associated revenue activity in Salesforce and other systems.
  • Track proposals, reporting deadlines, funding pipelines, and employer partnership activity to ensure timely follow-through.
  • Coordinate outreach, communication, and follow-up with employer partners.
  • Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and communication for employer engagement activities, including classroom visits, events, and related experiences.
  • Support coordination between development and JMG staff to ensure alignment and communication.
  • Coordinate scholarship-related processes, including communications, documentation, application tracking, and timelines.
  • Support and strengthen communications through the strategic use of social media to elevate stewardship and demonstrate impact
  • Proactively identify, suggest, and advance new and creative approaches to enhance engagement and reach
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve systems, workflows, and coordination processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
