Employee Relations Specialist-Be the Voice of Balance If you are the kind of HR professional who can see both sides of a story and turn conflict into clarity then Come Begin Your Story as Employee Relations Specialist at Security Finance! We're looking for an Employee Relations Specialist who knows how to navigate complex workplace situations with professionalism, empathy, and backbone. In this role, you will be the trusted advisor managers turn to when they need guidance on disciplinary actions, terminations, and employee relations best practices. You will also help ensure our workplace remains fair, compliant, and people-focused-all while upholding the integrity of our organization. You could be a great addition as an Employee Relations Specialist if you have: 5 - 7 years of progressive HR experience, with strong employee relations exposure. High School Diploma or equivalent required. A deep understanding of HR practices, employment law, and conflict resolution. Exceptional communication and investigative skills-both written and verbal. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office technology. PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Supervisor experience is a plus. Requirements

  • 5 - 7 years of progressive HR experience, with strong employee relations exposure.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • A deep understanding of HR practices, employment law, and conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional communication and investigative skills-both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and general office technology.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Supervisor experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into employee grievances and respond to EEOC inquires in partnership with Legal.
  • Guide leaders through performance and document issues with a focus on consistency and compliance.
  • Review and approve termination documentation-accuracy matters here.
  • Manage recognition programs that celebrate employees' contributions and milestones.
  • Monitor exit surveys and identify patterns or opportunities to strengthen retention.
  • Handle unemployment claims and appeals as needed.
  • Show up-on time, every time. Your presence and punctuality matter.
  • Performs additional responsibilities and projects as needed to support departmental objectives.
