Serve as a liaison between ER and other departments, facilitating communication and collaboration on matters related to benefits, safety, health, and security. Provide effective and timely communications for employees to ensure understanding and alignment to company goals and initiatives. Monitor employee sentiments to identify issues/trends, propose proactive solutions aligned with business needs, and advise management in issue identification. Assist management with the application and interpretation of policies and procedures. Support employee onboarding and orientation. Identify opportunities and recommendations to drive positive changes for HMGMA. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. Advocate for employees and for the company. Build strong relationships with employees and promote employee engagement. Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to gather missing information and validate findings for reporting. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America.
