This role is completely remote and can be based anywhere in the US. Your Role at Sephora The Employee Relations team acts as a bridge between employees and Sephora with the intent to support the overall employee experience. Through functioning as a neutral resource, the ER team serves to drive consistency and fairness, assess workplace culture, investigate escalated concerns such as workplace discrimination, retaliation, or harassment and provide consultative support. The ER team will continue to support all employees with mediation, dispute resolution, assess the business climate and recommend strategies to consistently improve upon the employee experience at Sephora. Job Summary Reporting into the Sr. Employee Relations Investigator, this role will handle employee relations issues, investigations, and provide subject matter expertise for employee concerns across Retail and Field Support Center (Corporate). Additionally, the ER Investigator will stay current on employment laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of investigations.

Requirements

  • Complex Workplace Investigations including Executive Level (Retail and Corporate required) – 5+ years
  • HR and ER experience in Corporate and Retail Environments – 5+ years
  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication

  • Interpersonal Relationship Building

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of company policy violations with varying levels of complexities across Sephora US (Retail, Corporate, and Distribution Centers).
  • Make recommendations and provide guidance with respect to corrective action, separations, performance management, policy interpretation, leave of absence, accommodations, and other complex and sensitive employment matters.
  • Support internal ER projects/initiatives as needed.
