The Employee Health RN I develops and administers the employee health program at Hoag. Primary responsibilities include but not limited to: Interprets healthcare regulatory guidelines and standards for application and compliance for hospital employees. Administers, documents, and maintains health records for services provided to Hoag staff. Examples of such services include preplacement examinations. immunizations/vaccinations, surveillance of and provide screening of bloodborne pathogens exposures, and provide care for workplace violence injuries. Promotes prevention of work-related exposures, identification of work-related risks and developing programs and strategies that reduce those risks as much as possible. Aids in prevention of injuries and illnesses by assisting in the maintenance of a safe work environment. Build awareness to all employee health programs and services.
