Requirements

  • 2-5 years industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and organizational skills required
  • The preferred candidate is a team player with a great attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma
  • Licensed by appropriate regulatory bodies

Nice To Haves

  • Previous insurance experience is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Conducting sales, service, and solicitation of all forms of commercial insurance business
  • Maximizing growth and client retention through superior customer service
  • Developing accounts and cross selling available products and services
  • Generating and pursuing new client opportunities
  • Develop and deliver formal proposals of insurance program
  • Bringing new business prospects to closure
  • Retaining clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationships
  • Collaborate with account managers and the marketing team to complete proposals and selection of potential markets
  • Negotiate with carriers and evaluate carrier quotes to secure the best quotes possible for clients
