We’re seeking a high-performing Employee Benefits Client Advisor to generate revenue by connecting people and businesses to benefit solutions that protect their employees and organizations. You’ll guide clients through the entire buying process, close direct sales of benefits policies and services, and serve as a trusted advisor to help them navigate an evolving benefits landscape. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in insurance sales, client advising, or business development with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets preferred.
  • Proven track record of obtaining new clients and/or new revenue growth in the industry with a focus on utilizing technology and tech platforms.
  • Bachelors’ degree in a related field, such as business administration, marketing or finance preferred.
  • Experience in financial services business and/or insurance industry.
  • Experience with market expansion, leveraging technology to enter new markets or enhance sales efforts in existing markets.
  • Life and Health licensing required.
  • Demonstrated administrative computing skills, including Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, and Power Point)
  • Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence within their division to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.

  • Applied EPIC or similar agency management software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • New Sales & Business Development Identify and develop employee benefits prospects and match them to appropriate markets.
  • Respond to referrals quickly and effectively, pre-qualifying prospects for insurability and quality of risk.
  • Design and present benefit plans, recommending coverages tailored to client needs.
  • Survey exposures, employee demographics, and cost considerations to build sustainable benefits programs.
  • Make sales presentations to prospective and existing clients for new and renewal business.
  • Ask for referrals to expand opportunities and collaborate with Life, Health, and P&C producers for account rounding.
  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management Guide clients through the entire buying process, ensuring clarity on benefit plan options, coverage limitations, and financial responsibilities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by developing deep client relationships and delivering holistic benefits solutions that drive long-term value.
  • Partner with Acrisure’s service teams to deliver comprehensive, competitive proposals and benefits strategies.
  • Educate clients on payment expectations, cancellation procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Retention & Continuous Marketing Develop and maintain a profitable book of employee benefits business for both Acrisure and carriers.
  • Work with clients to ensure adequacy of coverage, plan limits, and evolving employee needs.
  • Provide ongoing education and clarification on coverage and exclusions, documenting in the system for accuracy and risk management.
  • Share client insights with internal teams to optimize retention strategies and strengthen client satisfaction.
  • Sales Process & Cadence Discipline Follow structured sales cadences to ensure consistent pipeline progression, accurate forecasting, and disciplined deal management throughout the create–convert–close–retain cycle.
  • Collaborate with leadership on revenue forecasts, pipeline reviews, and strategic deal planning, providing proactive updates and recommendations to optimize outcomes.
