Emergency Veterinary Technician Caregiver
About The Position
Avets is seeking full-time Emergency Veterinary Technician Caregivers to join their team. The mission at Avets is to provide state-of-the-art medicine and compassionate care for pets and their owners. This role offers opportunities to advance skill sets and work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with both specialty and emergency veterinarians. New hires are paired with a mentor for guidance during their introductory period. This is a full-time, hourly position with shifts of either 3 twelve-hour days or 4 ten-hour days per week, including one weekend shift and a portion of holidays. Avets is part of Ethos Veterinary Health, a network of over 140 specialty and emergency hospitals across North America, employing more than 1,500 specialized doctors and caring for nearly 2 million pets annually. Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and/or kneel for the duration of a shift (12 hours)
- Ability to lift a minimum of twenty five pounds
- Fluent English skills (speaking & reading)
Nice To Haves
- Prior emergency experience
- Certified Veterinary Technician or license eligible candidate
- Fluency in multiple languages
