We celebrate our successes and take pride in our work Job Overview: The Missoula Interagency Dispatch Center manages initial and extended attack of fires on the Southwestern Land Office, Lolo National Forest, and CSKT tribal lands, and regularly assists other federal and state government agencies with wildland incidents. The interagency dispatch center also assists the Northern Rockies Coordination Center in mobilization of federal, State, and local resources for fires and other non-fire incidents on a State, regional and nationwide level. Purpose of the job: This position will generally and normally be assigned to the Missoula Interagency Dispatch Center and works under the guidance and direction of the Dispatch Center Manager and is a direct report to DNRC Assistant Center Manager. The position is expected to use initiative and judgment, under standard operating procedures, to dispatch resources for initial attack and support of wildland fires during complex and multiple incidents that are beyond the scope of developed guidelines.
