Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a busy acute care hospital in Panama City, Florida. POSITION OVERVIEW The ER RN provides rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of emergent conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations. SCHEDULE • Days or mixed shifts available • Rotating weekends required
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of recent ER RN acute care experience required (within the last year)
- Strong ICU or PCU background may be considered
- Active RN license required (Florida or compact)
- Must obtain Florida license within 90 days if relocating
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
- BLS certification required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced emergency environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency department setting
- Perform rapid assessments and triage patients appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Advocate for patient safety and quality care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
