Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a high-demand opening in Ocala, Florida. This role is ideal for nurses who are comfortable managing a wide range of patient acuity in a fast-paced emergency department setting. POSITION OVERVIEW The ER RN provides direct patient care for individuals presenting with emergent and acute conditions. This includes triage, assessment, treatment, and coordination of care across interdisciplinary teams. Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required (Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ER)
  • Active RN license required (Florida or compact)
  • Must obtain Florida license within required timeframe if relocating
  • Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
  • ACLS required within 90 days of hire
  • BLS required within 30 days of hire
  • PALS required within 90 days of hire
  • ENPC required within 6 months of hire
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 6 months
  • Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and multitasking ability

  • BSN preferred

Responsibilities

  • Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages
  • Manage multiple cases and prioritize patient care effectively
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Provide discharge instructions and coordinate follow-up care
  • Collaborate with physicians and hospital staff to ensure quality care
