Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a Float Pool position in Tallahassee, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple ER settings, including inpatient and freestanding emergency departments. POSITION OVERVIEW The ER Float RN delivers patient-centered care across various emergency environments, managing a wide range of acute and critical conditions while adapting to different clinical settings and teams. SCHEDULE • Days, nights, and mid shifts available • Rotating weekends required COMPENSATION • Hourly rate $27.72 to $39.60 based on experience • Sign-on bonus: $10,000 days / $15,000 nights • Night differential $3.00/hr • Weekend differential $2.00/hr KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide direct patient care in ER and FSED settings • Perform nursing assessments and develop care plans • Advocate for patient safety, privacy, and quality care • Administer medications and treatments per protocol • Adapt quickly to different departments and workflows • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams WHY THIS OPPORTUNITY • MOST URGENT hiring need • Float pool flexibility across multiple ER environments • Exposure to diverse patient populations and acuity levels • Strong clinical support and resources • Opportunity for growth within a stable hospital system BENEFITS • Comprehensive medical coverage • Dental and vision insurance • Life and disability coverage • 401k with company match • Paid time off • Health savings account • Relocation assistance available • Long-term career stability Requirements REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 1 year of recent ER acute care RN experience required • Strong critical care experience may be considered • Active RN license required (Florida or compact) • Must obtain Florida license within required timeframe if relocating • Graduate of accredited nursing program • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire • Must pass AHCA Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting • Ability to adapt to multiple clinical environments • Strong communication and critical thinking skills Not ready to formally apply?
