How you’ll make an impact in this role Provide support treatment, care and evaluation of patients on scene and during transport. Arrive to the scene of an emergency, determine the situation, and develop a plan of action. Use appropriate medical equipment and comprehends the severity of the injury. Monitor patient condition and perform data collection. Communicate findings and patient condition to primary Registered Nurse (RN). Assist with the mobilization, ambulation and transport of patients. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Drivers License credentialed from the Kansas Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services (KSBEMS) required. Certification specializing in ER Vehicle Operation preferred. Education: High School Diploma equivalency required with 2 years of cumulative experience preferred. OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience What additional preferences we're seeking Must be available for both Day or Night Shifts - 6:30am-7:00pm or 6:30pm-7:00am

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Drivers License credentialed from the Kansas Department of Motor Vehicles obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Kansas Board of Emergency Medical Services (KSBEMS) required.
High School Diploma equivalency required with 2 years of cumulative experience preferred. OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience

Nice To Haves

Certification specializing in ER Vehicle Operation preferred.
Must be available for both Day or Night Shifts - 6:30am-7:00pm or 6:30pm-7:00am
