About The Position

Work Schedule: 100% FTE, full-time. Day shift, Monday - Friday 8a-430pm. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital. Required or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Required Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.

Requirements

Graduate of DOT approved Paramedic course. Required or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN). Required
Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Three years experience in pre hospital care or trauma care. Required
Five years of adult and pediatric trauma care experience. Experience can be Emergency or Critical Care or a combination of both. Required
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois. Required or Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois. Required
Within first year of employment must attain the following certifications; Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Lead Instructor, Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Instructor, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Instructor status.
