Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Emergency Department Registered Nurses to support the VA San Diego Healthcare System located at 3350 La Jolla Village Dr, San Diego, CA 92161. Multiple shift schedules are available. The Emergency Department RNs are willing to work cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignments and locations. They ensure caring for the Veteran his/her priority while in the work setting and demonstrates customer service principles in all aspects of work. They are self-motivated in the pursuit of meeting professional work standards. Responsibilities Emergency Department RN services shall be provided in accordance with the policies of the VA healthcare system where assigned. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific components Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of care, patient and family education, patient self-management after discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfaction Considers all characteristics of the individual, including age and life stages, state of health, race and culture, values, and previous experiences Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team Poises and articulates in communicating with people of varied educational levels and varied ethnic backgrounds Works cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignments Participates in unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programs
